OUR RESPONSE TO THOSE, LIKE MARTA, ASK US FOR INFORMATION ON OUR GREEN PACKAGING POLICY.  

Good evening Marta, thank you for your kind words and for the note on plastic packaging: it is a protection that we rarely use and only in certain cases.  

It is a polymer with a very low environmental impact (I don't think I have ever seen it in that colour) and we have used it in recent weeks for shipments in the Po Valley where the couriers kept the parcels longer than necessary due to the rain which continued persistently falling, and fearing that humidity could ruin the container and consequently the objects inside it, we preferred to make them "waterproof"   Also for this reason, the further packaging of the pairs of glasses is in lightly waxed tissue paper which we also use as a shockproof filler instead of bubble wrap.
